Brad Zimmerman moved to New York City after college to pursue a career as an actor. After working as a waiter for twenty nine years Brad developed the hilarious, one-man, off-Broadway show, “My Son the Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy” based on his quirky and often bizarre experiences in the New York restaurant world. Brad’s show caught the attention of world famous comedians Joan Rivers and George Carlin. His performance led to Brad appearing as the opening act for both comedians for many years until their deaths. In addition to his original comedy show, Brad earned a number of film roles over the years. Most notable was a supporting role in the long running series "The Sopranos” where he portrayed an attorney for the character Johnny Sack. Whilst continuing his one-man shows around the country and working on the long awaited sequel to “My Son the Waiter,” the Covid virus decimated all live shows. Unable to perform on stage, Brad decided to explore other creative aspects of his nature. The result is a series of strong, colorful and modern statement pieces available for the first time for home décor.
