As a young boy in the 1950's, Randal Spangler loved to imagine all kinds of adventures as he explored the attics and barns of his family's farms near Kirksville, Missouri. These memories are a primary source for images from the land of Ohm, home of his popular Dragling characters, Dagmar and Dewey. Another source for 'Ohmish visuals' was his tour with the Navy in Bremerton, WA, when he had a chance to backpack through the rain forests of the Olympic National Park.
