The Simon+Kabuki brand was created after Erin and Ilene were trying to plan their children's birthday parties and found a shortage of hip party invitations. They thought there was a gap in the market that needed to be filled with fun, fresh and modern design. To the tune of $15 million in online invitation, card and stationery sales since they launched in 2007, they were 100% right. The brand is based on contemporary color combinations, pleasing patterns and design elements with a modern twist.
